1190 total head of cattle
sold today at Greeley Producers.
Holstein cows remain consistent to two dollars lower compared to last
week. Buyer demand remains strong for
light calves and feeders. Lean beef
cows ranged from $80-$93, utility beef cows ranged from $70.50-$72.50. Lean Holsteins ranged from $63.50-66 and
utility Holsteins ranged from $59.50-62.
Today’s Feeder Calf special featured 800 hd of calves. 400-450 lbs. steers ranged $180-$189,
450-500 lbs. steers $180-$186, 500-550 lbs. steers $165-$170, 550-600 lbs.
steers $160-$168.50, 600-650 lbs. steers $148-$160 and 650-700 lbs. steers
$145-$148. 400-450lb heifers weren’t too far off from their brothers with a
ranged $165-$167, 500-550 lbs. $144-$152.
820-1050 lbs. yearlings sold well ranging from $126-$135. Not all animals are listed due to space
limitations. Prices below are a
